This post is requested by my college friend Yohanes that wanna have a short trip to Singapore with his family. He requested me to post where to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Since I'm not a food blogger or someone that can judge objectively. I'll just share where to eat some Singapore food that I like.
Here are some places that serve delicious Singapore food:
1. Ruji Fishball noodle
This is the best fish ball noodle in Singapore so far! Of course for me, haha. Let me tell you in advance, this place has a long queue. But don't worry, because the Uncle and Auntie serve really fast. About the taste, not like the other fish ball noodle, this one has a strong flavor with the perfect of spicy level (Indonesian level). The chewy yet soft fish ball complete the combo. Uhlalaa.
Price Small/Medium/Large : $ 3 / $ 4 / $ 5

2. Eat.
Singapore Laksa. OMG love this laksaaa. The soup is soo yummy. Legit!
Price : around $ 4 or $ 4.5

3.Toast Box
This is my favorite kaya toast in Singapore so far! Crunchy toast, sweet-moist kaya, and the melted butter make it perfect. And their mee rebus is also delicious.
Price (Sorry, I forgot the exact number) :
Multigrain Traditional Toasts around $ 2
Kaya toast set (bread toast + 2 eggs + coffee or tea) around $ 4.9 - $ 5
Mee rebus set ( mee rebus + drink ) around $ 6.2 - $ 6.8

4. Xin Yuan Ji
This place serves curry fish head that made me fell in love. Recommended by my office friend, Hi Ko Aconk, thanks a loot! I already visited this place 3 times. I still love the curry. And this place also has a long queue, but don't worry, in my experience, you will not wait more than 20 minutes. Please come with at least 3 or 4 people if you want to try another menu because they sure serve a big portion. Me and Papa Caat came here with the super hungry tummy. Ordered 3 dishes, asam curry fish head, kangkong and fried chicken . We just can't finish all the dishes, so we take away. Too greedy about food, ckckck.
Price :
Asam curry fish head $ 23.8
Kangkong $ 9.8
Fried chicken $ 15
Steam rice, sorry I forgot the price, but it's around $ 1 to $ 1,5 per portion
5. Chicken Rice
Try this one Michelin star chicken rice. When the first spoon enters my mouth, I just overwhelmed with joy. The fragrance of the rice is spread all in my mouth. My heart is melted. The chicken is also melted in my mouth, almost taste like fish meat. Love! Next time I come here, I definitely will take away the rice, Yup, only the rice, because I'm sooo in love with the rice =p
Price Small/Medium/Large : $ 3.5 / $ 5 / $ 7.8
Mine is medium portion.

6. Taste good
I heard that this salted egg chicken (or fish) is so famous among Indonesian. So here I come to taste. I love this delicious taste until fourth or fifth spoons, after that, as Indonesian I said "eneg", haha. The portion is quite big for me.
Price for fish and chicken: $ 5

Extra:
7. East Coast Food Court
Sugarcane is so refreshing in this tropical country. Never missed a glass of sugarcane.
Price: Sugarcane $ 3

My first try eating rojak Singapore. Cakwe, jicama, cucumber, pineapple, with brown sugar-peanut-terasi sauce and grilled tofu filled with beansprout and cucumber. The presentation looks like Indonesia's rujak, but it tastes different. I like Indonesian rujak better.
Price :
Rojak Singapore $ 6
Singapore's chicken satay with lontong $ 7.5
Grill string ray $ 12 (small portion)

Singapore's chicken satay with lontong is sweet, I like it! Grill string ray with the signature BBQ sauce is my Papa Caat's favorite.
Enjoy! ❤
